The most delicious superfood lemon smoothie recipe made with fresh lemon juice, turmeric, ice, yogurt, an Omega-3 boost, and optional strawberry layer.

Ingredients

  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt non dairy
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 or 2 Dates depending on sweetness
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries (optional for pink layer)

Instructions

  1. Add the lemon juice, yogurt, ice, and NutraVege to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Sweeten to taste with stevia or agave syrup.
  3. Pour half the lemon smoothie into a glass. Add the strawberries to the blender with the remaining lemon smoothie. Blend until smooth, then add on top of the lemon layer. Enjoy immediately!
